Blue Monday

The term ‘Blue Monday’ is believed to be the most depressing day of the year due to a combination of factors such as post-Christmas blues, cold weather, short daylight hours, financial strain from Christmas spending, and the failure to keep New Year’s resolutions. It has become widely recognised across the world and serves as a reminder to prioritise self-care and mental wellbeing during challenging times.

Today, KCJ staff members participated in a wellbeing and mindfulness activity. It included, distributing sticky notes with uplifting quotes or messages to each employee’s desk to inspire positivity throughout the day. We then spent 15 minutes meditating, allowing ourselves to relax the body and mind.
